February 2010 - $500 Contest
For the month of February, Neon Surge (neonsurge.com) is holding a contest
for their latest iPhone application, iTrade (nerdtrade.com). We're giving
away $500 in prizes! All you have to do is play our FREE stock trading
simulator! Get into the top-ten for February and win!
Have you wanted to learn and try stock trading without the risk? Try
iTrade, the mobile stock trading simulator. We give users one hundred
thousand virtual dollars to trade with real stocks on the stock market.

To participate in the contest
- Download the latest version of iTrade (1.0.3) from your iPhone at
http://itunes.com/app/itrade
- Make an account (if you already have an account, ensure your account is
opted-into the Monthly Reset, see our website for more details)
- Trade stocks! The top 10 eligible iTrade participants for the month of
February will win!
First Prize (Top three iTraders in our scoreboards for the month of
February)
- Up to three (3) items of their choice from our Cafe Press Site
- One (1) $50 gift card of their choice (iTunes or Apple Store)
- (Approximate Retail Value: $100)
Runner-up Prize (Fourth through tenth place in our scoreboards for the
month of February)

To be eligible for this contest...
- You must be using the latest version of iTrade (1.0.3) for the entire
duration of this contest (the month of February)
- Your account MUST be set to "ranked" so that you will be placed on our
public scoreboard
- You must be legally able to enter a "contest" and receive "prizes" at
your address, and in your city, state, province and country
- You must have created your account with a valid email address and we
must be able to get ahold of you by March 5, 2010 (hey, if we can't contact
you, you can't win!)
- Must provide us with, and allow us to post your abbreviated names (for
your privacy) and location in our announcements (Hey, you want bragging
rights anyway, right?)
If you have an account...
If you already have an account, please ensure your account is ranked. If
you see the green text "Ranked" underneath your username in your "Portfolio"
page, then you are ranked and ready to go! Your screen should look similar
to mine in the image below where it says "ranked" circled in red. It MUST
say ranked. If it does not, then read on...
Example 1: Please ensure your iTrade looks like this, NOTE if you do not
see this little text here, it means you need to update your iTrade!
Opt-in to monthly reset (enable ranked mode)
To make sure you are ranked to be eligible for this contest please do the
following before Feb 1st, 2010.
#1: On your "Portfolio" page click on the Tools button in the
top-left
|
#2: Scroll down and touch "Monthly Reset"
|
#3: Make sure the "End of Month Reset" is set "ON". If it is not, set it to ON and type in your
password to confirm. Your portfolio will not reflect the "ranked" status until Feb 1st, 2010, but if
this is set to ON then you will be eligible to enter the contest, and ranked will show up on your
portfolio on on the 1st.
